      Died: 5 March 1918
      George Thomas Bellingham was born on 29 May 1875 at the Coast Guard Station, Tarbet Island, Co. Kerry the son of Robert Henry Bellingham, Coast Guard and Elizabeth Wilcox. George had six siblings two of which were Caroline and Alice. George married Florence Pashley as St Stephen's Church, Rashcliffe, Huddersfield on 5 March 1918. Florence had a daughter from a previous marriage, Alice Pashley born in 1906.
      George joined Ordnance Survey on 3 August 1892. On census night 1911 George was boarding in Mullaghnaneane, Sligo, Ireland. Also, boarding at the same address was Ordnance Survey colleague John McLynn.
      In August 1916 George enlisted into 16 Battalion, London Regiment (No 7170), later he transferred to 366 Reserve Employment Company, Labour Corps (469307). George died in hospital of illness; his death was registered in Lambeth.
      Private George Thomas Bellingham, 366 Reserve Employment Company, Labour Corps died of illness on 5 March 1918. He is remembered on the Ordnance Survey War Memorials. His Commonwealth War Grave is in the Huddersfield (Lockwood) Cemetery.
