Within the records for the Royal Sappers and Miners (1841 and 1851, and Royal Engineers (1861 and 1871) are transcriptions for the Survey Companies; 13, 14 and 16 Companies. These Companies were established specifically for duties in support of the Ordnance Survey. There are 1043 individuals identified in these transcriptions.
