  David Glyndwr Morgan was born on 26 March1917 in Merthyr Tydfil the son of David Morgan and Sarah Morris. David enlisted into the Royal Engineers on 5 December 1939. After initial training he was posted 512 Army Field Survey Company, Royal Engineers. In March 1941 a detachment of 512 Company were deployed to Greece, whilst in Greece David and other members of 512 Company were taken prisoner. David died whilst a Prisoner of War at Stalag 18A, Wolfsberg, Austria. http://www.stalag18a.org.uk/
